Postdoctoral Positions in Mucosal Immunology – The University of Chicago
A post-doctoral position in mucosal immunology is available in the research group of Dr. V. Abadie at the University of Chicago. The laboratory focuses on understanding how immune mechanisms, and in particular intestinal humoral responses contribute to the development of intestinal inflammatory diseases such as celiac disease. Projects in our lab are multidisciplinary and combine the use of a broad array of immunological techniques (flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, functional assays on cell cultures…) on both mouse models and human samples. Specific projects will be discussed with potential applicants depending on their field of expertise and interests.
We are looking for recent Ph.D. graduates in immunology or any related field with a strong background and expertise in immunology (expertise in B cell biology or gut immunology is preferred). We are looking for dynamic, hard-working and dedicated candidate who have a strong interest and general skills in studying mucosal immune responses. Experience in multiparametric flow cytometry and working with mouse models is desired.
Applicants are encouraged to submit curriculum vitae, a brief description of research accomplishments and interests, list of publications and the names and contact information of three references to email@example.com
